Executive Chef for Assisted Living Facility - Connect Senior Care

Executive Chef ALF Summary: An assisted living facility located in St Petersburg is actively seeking an experienced Culinary Manager to enhance the current programming and food services of the department.

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 Annualy

Executive Chef ALF DUTIES:

• Leads the Dietary department in providing an elegant and superb dining experience for our residents
• Plans assign & inspect the work of Food Service Staff.
• Schedules and assigns staff prepares department payroll for data entry.
• Supervises the storage & care of food and supplies.
• Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipment.
• Checks residents being served for consistency with the specified menu 
• Charts dietetic progress for Residents at least quarterly to meet care plan goals, as required.
• Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.

Executive Chef ALF REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a healthcare cooking environment.
• Serve Safe certified.
• Strong knowledge of the practices utilized in large scale & therapeutic food prep.
• Solid leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
