About the Job
We're seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant to support senior leadership at a prestigious think tank in Washington, DC. This temp-to-hire role offers a formal, fast-paced environment where flexibility and attention to detail are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage executive calendars, heavy scheduling, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate domestic/international travel, including itineraries and expense reconciliation.
- Support tri-annual board meetings: invitations, RSVPs, agendas, and logistics.
- Maintain records (paper/electronic) and handle retention and archiving.
- Assist with expense reconciliation, research, and drafting reports.
- Provide support for the junior fellowship program.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of executive support experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams; experience with Asana and Concur is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a professional, formal environment.
- Flexible and detail-oriented with excellent time management.
Details:
- Pay: $30/hour (temp).
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (2 in-office days per week).
- Duration: 6-month temp-to-hire.
- Location: Metro-accessible DC office.
