Executive Assistant - Govcio LLC

Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a highly driven experienced Executive Assistant/Receptionist to support Sr. Leadership. The individual will manage corporate phonelines, visitor and employee access within a complex mixed use office environment. This position will be onsite in Tysons Corner, VA with core hours of operations from Monday to Friday from 5:45 AM to 2:30 PM ET. 

Responsibilities:

Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment. Works independently on special assignments related to corporate affairs. Ensures that issues that need immediate attention are made aware. Maintains smooth operation of office operations.

• Oversee the daily operations of the front desk.
• Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff
• Maintain visitor’s log.
• Maintain cubicle assignment log.
• Assign and maintain locker logs for employees.
• Schedule conference rooms and meetings for the office
• Ensure the office is stocked with required supplies for the office and staff.
• Interact with various vendors with a cheerful outlook.
• Report incidents to Office Managers
• Assist with preparing weekly and monthly meetings for new hires, and updates on metrics for the office and the team.
• Be the facility's ambassador of our company culture.
• Protect the organization's value by keeping information confident.
• Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.

• Provide great customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

• Associate’s degree or 5–8-year experience
• Proven experience as administrative assistant, or receptionist
• 5+ years of experience in a receptionist role
• Competency with Microsoft OfficeSuite
• Comfortable working independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should company or office needs change.
• Strong people skills to interact positively with all employees.
• Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee office

Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain/maintain a suitability/public trust clearance.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range:USD $78,000.00 - USD $92,000.00 /Yr.
