Executive Assistant To CEO - BGT Interior Solutions

About the Job
BGT is looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn & advance with us as we continue to grow! This role will be responsible for supporting the CEO & Management team with administrative and clerical duties, including accounting data entry, filing, spearheading projects, scheduling, and administering local/residential sales transactions.
Job Duties:
- Establishes, develops, maintains and updates all filing systems
- Creates and follows up on task lists, acting as a right hand to the CEO
- Takes on and completes special projects
- Responsible for keeping the company Microsoft Suite organized
- Helps with Accounting data entry into QuickBooks when needed
- Assists in the selling of materials by creating invoices for local sales, answering customer questions, keeping the area tidy, and keeping track of inventory
- Deals with all clients and staff professionally with a positive attitude
- Organizes and prioritizes information for various departments as assigned
- Runs errands and screens phone calls
Skills/background requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Retail and/or Online sales experience preferred
- Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in all dealings is crucial
- Self-starter who is well-organized
- Must communicate effectively in writing, in person, and over the phone
- Flexibility is key in this role
- Must be able to travel locally around Houston and have a reliable mode of transportation
- High school diploma required; college is a plus
- QuickBooks proficiency is a plus
- 1 or more years of administrative & filing experience preferred
