Executive Assistant - Amazon

Description We are looking for someone to support both the Infrastructure Security Team and the Amazon Domain Name Services (DNS) Team (known as Route 53). We are looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. The Infrastructure Security Team is responsible for the security and risk management of the AWS Infrastructure. We build systems that detect, assess and mitigate risk across the global infrastructure and are accountable for keeping the Amazon Infrastructure secure and compliant with customer requirements. Route 53 is responsible for DNS names for all of Amazon. We build systems that automatically recognize networking conditions and route customer traffic to the endpoints behind these names. Most AWS services either directly or indirectly depend on Route 53. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help. Key job responsibilities This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, coordinating domestic and international travel, and managing space for their supported teams. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group. In-office requirements of at least 3 days/week. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Minneapolis, MN and Seattle, WA A day in the life Support two senior leaders within AWS Infrastructure whose organizations are responsible for running and securing the internet. Manage complex calendaring, domestic and international travel, and expenses. This person will also ideally have space planning experience, and be able to help this team strategically manage space and proactively look around corners for space planning. This person will be closely connected to the business, stay aware of changes and challenges, and proactively present ideas and solutions. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
