We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This pivotal role will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our manufacturing processes, products, and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceuticals, demonstrating proficiency in areas such as ERP systems, MS Office, QuickBooks, Automated Barcoding System, Clinical Quality Assurance, Medical Laboratory, and adherence to safety. This role requires a deep understanding of FDA Quality System Regulations. The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role or related field.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the quality assurance program for the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including FDA Quality System Regulations.
2. Implement and maintain ERP systems, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place for quality control.
3. Develop and enforce quality standards for all pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
4. Utilize MS Office, QuickBooks, and Automated Barcoding System for effective management of quality assurance processes.
5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the manufacturing site meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
6. Lead the Clinical Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
7. Liaise with medical laboratory teams to coordinate testing and validation of products.
8. Develop and implement strategies for improving quality in all areas of the manufacturing process.
9. Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. An advanced degree would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or related field.
3. Proven experience with ERP systems, MS Office, QuickBooks, and Automated Barcoding System.
4. Extensive knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
5. Experience in Clinical Quality Assurance and Medical Laboratory procedures.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the role.
