About the Job
Local company established in 1999 who provides emergency, short-term housing for homeless families with children, has an immediate need for a PART TIME Executive Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities for an Executive Assistant:
- Perform administrative and office support activities for Executive Director and Board of Trustees.
- Assisting with meeting schedules and phone inquiries, receiving and directing appointment.
- General office duties may include managing calendars, organize and schedule appointments.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Process housing referrals by reviewing paperwork for completion and accuracy.
- Ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of Day Center and family support staff.
- Act as the point of contact for outside organizations, partners, and visitors.
Skills and Qualifications for an Executive Assistant:
- Past experience in administrative support position required
- Requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, vendors and other community partners.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters and ability to maintain confidentiality of all materials.
- Solid software skills, internet research abilities and strong communication skills.
- Strong time management and task prioritization ability along with extensive problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once with no degradation in quality.
- Must have excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team.
Job Details for an Executive Assistant:
- PART TIME
- Work Schedule: up to 20 hours per week (At least four days between the hours of 9:00 and 5:00. Flexible on hours and days)
- $20.00/hr
