About the Job
Vaco has partnered with a long-time client to hire an Executive Assistant in Durham, NC. As the Executive Assistant you will provide high-level administrative support to our executive team, ensuring smooth daily operaitons and effective project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO and other senior executives.
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Conduct research and compile data to support executive decision-making.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Oversee and manage special projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of meetings, including taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Develop and maintain efficient office systems and procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of executives and proactively address potential issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing executive support at the senior level.
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Concur.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
