We are currently in search of an Executive Assistant/Project Manager to join our International Operations team! Under general direction and working independently, the Executive Assistant/Project Manager will provide exceptional administrative services for the President of FEED International (PFI) and essential project management support to the day-to-day-operations of FEED’s International Operations team. The successful candidate will be an excellent ambassador for FEED International, serving as a trusted, frontline representative for the PFI with critical stakeholders. This position will be resourceful, collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in independently identifying what business, requests, circumstances, communications and/or decisions require the personal attention of the PFI and direct those matters accordingly to help ensure streamlined operations. This position will also assist the unit with logistical, administrative, travel, and effective communication processes to develop, organize and accomplish the team’s objectives efficiently.
NOTE: This position is primarily a remote position, however the ideal candidate will reside in the Washington, D.C., Maryland or Virginia areas as occasional in-person meetings may be required.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis in business, communications, or another related field preferred.
Experience
5+ years of executive assistant or administrative management experience at senior-level required.
4+ years of managing and scheduling international travel required.
3+ years of international non-profit professional work experience required.
Extensive Office 365 (SharePoint and Teams) experience tracking high priority projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express self effectively and concisely required.
Strong interpersonal skills interacting with cross-functional teams tactfully and effectively in a virtual setting required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work occasional evenings and/or early mornings to accommodate varying time zones of colleagues required

Essential Functions:
Administrative Support:
Provide ongoing administrative support to the PFI, including management of calendar, scheduling and organizing meetings, travel accommodations and arrangements, processing of expense reports, management of contacts and all other logistical activities.
Complete a variety of administrative tasks for the department; composing and preparing correspondence that is confidential; arranging detailed travel plans and itineraries; coordinating logistics for meetings (locations, technology, catering) and compiling documents, presentations, etc.
Assist in the preparation of agendas and capturing of minutes for meetings, as requested.
Manage the International Operations SharePoint site and KPI dashboard ensuring it is updated accordingly.
Project Management:
Manage department projects such as maintenance of SharePoint sites, Teams sites, dashboards, status reports and other key documents on a pre-determined cadence.
Assist PFI in preparing for Board, Sub-Committees of the Board, and Senior Leadership Meetings.
Conduct research, prepare analytical reports, presentations, communications, and any other items required to assist the PFI.
Serve as a liaison and key support role to the various teams, the PFI, and FEED International Operations staff to ensure the delivery of relevant information, adherence to strategic initiatives and timelines, reporting, project completion, and issue resolution.
Prioritize and follow up on projects, issues, and concerns to the PFI, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and propose appropriate course of action.
Communications:
Support the PFI by serving as a gatekeeper to manage information flow and exchange ensuring effective communication occurs across key stakeholder groups and involve the PFI when appropriate.
Review, manage, and evaluate internal and external communications in confidence to identify items requiring priority attention; assist with PFI communications as requested.
Assist with the recording and storage of information in accordance with FEED records management policies and procedures.

Travel: The travel requirements for this position are estimated to be <5% of the work time. Travel may include Domestic and International travel. Driver’s license and passport required.
