Executive Assistant Pay- $55.57/hr
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to support organizational administration and management. This role requires performing complex analytical tasks, managing confidential information, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, capable of maintaining accuracy and confidentiality while addressing challenges with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex analytical duties related to organization, administration, and management.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Prepare clear and concise administrative reports.
- Collect, evaluate, and interpret complex information and data.
- Review and analyze complex technical documents and proposals.
- Develop and interpret goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze complex problems, identify alternative solutions, and recommend conclusions.
- Work independently without supervision.
- Interpret and apply laws, policies, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Operate office equipment, including computers and supporting word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and conversations related to the Police Department and the executive office.
- Act with honesty and integrity in all job duties.
Requirements
Knowledge:
- Program development, implementation, and budget preparation.
- Administrative, financial, and procedural analysis.
- Procurement, purchasing, and accounting principles.
- Business computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
- Relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
Skills:
- Performing analytical tasks and preparing reports.
- Managing budgets and analyzing financial data.
- Evaluating complex information and developing solutions.
- Communicating clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Working independently and maintaining effective relationships.
Summary of Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional, verifiable experience providing administrative support to executive management, board officers, or in a related role.
