Client Overview:
Our client is a mission-driven non-profit organization in NYC. Known for fostering a collaborative culture and forward-thinking initiatives, the organization is deeply committed to serving communities and driving positive change. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support two senior executives.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
This Executive Assistant role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency of daily operations through expert calendar management, travel coordination, and administrative support. The Executive Assistant will act as a trusted partner, enabling the executives to focus on strategic goals and organizational priorities.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Provide comprehensive support as the Executive Assistant to two executives, managing complex schedules and meetings.
- Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Prepare detailed materials for meetings and presentations, ensuring the executives are well-prepared.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage expense reports and assist with tracking budgets.
- Support the planning and execution of special projects and organizational events.
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
Qualifications for the Executive Assistant:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Slack.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in travel coordination and complex scheduling.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
