Wedbush Securities is looking for a temporary Executive Assistant to support our COO. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and have the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment with colleagues across multiple offices handling complex and confidential information and having daily interaction with clients and professionals within Wedbush. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring seamless communication, and optimizing executive workflows. *PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION THAT MAY LEAD TO A PERMANENT ROLE.*
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare executive summaries, presentations, correspondence, and memos
- Communicate issues to executives in a timely manner and provide proactive solutions
- Prepare and review expense reports for executives and their direct reports
- Answer and direct calls while serving as an information resource
- Maintain and update contact databases and meeting calendars
- Organize and maintain department files and documents
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Anticipate the needs of executives and the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- Minimum 3 years of Executive Assistant experience
- IT knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to collaborate and contribute to a team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled . Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $60,000-$90,000.
