Position
WCF Insurance has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a full-time Executive Assistant/Data Analyst to SVP. This is a full-time, exempt position based in WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal or external candidates.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SVP to achieve department goals, key business initiatives and project management.
- Extract and evaluate data from multiple sources and systems to research and analyze underlying data and trends with recommendations.
- Generate ad-hoc reports to monitor business performance and progress to goals.
- Project management collaborating with others to manage and complete projects timely and accurately.
- Organize, create, and prepare presentations used by the SVP that effectively communicate recommendations, business unit accomplishments, and projects using visual methods such as graphs and charts.
- Undertakes specials projects and assignments for the Senior VP, including but not limited to department risk assessments, task management, data query, sales management and analysis and other tasks requested.
- 40% is administrative involving planning and scheduling, meeting minutes, events coordination, calendar management, and expense reports.
- Collaborates with internal subject matter experts to retrieve data and produce reports.
- Oversees account stewardship, growth initiatives, distribution management and customer experience.
- Effectively manage meetings and calendar
Qualifications
The most qualified applicants will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, math, finance, risk management or sales
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Advanced capabilities of MS Office - Excel, Excel Cubes, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Power BI a plus, but not required.
- Capable of creating and interpreting reports, charts, graphs, and visuals from data.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, influencing and communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills and a self-starter who works with a sense of urgency.
- Inquisitive, curious, takes initiative and is goal oriented.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Minimum pay is $25/hour. Can be more depending on experience and/or education.
An internal candidate should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they've applied for the position.
