About the Job
SEARCH Group Partners is seeking an Executive Assistant for a Private Equity Firm located in Cottonwood Heights, UT. This position will be 100% in-office.
This individual will support one of our Managing Directors and will be a part of a broader team of executive assistants who work together to assist the entire office.
To be successful in this role, one should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without detailed guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our firm by providing personalized and timely executive support.
Here are a few things you'll likely find yourself doing in this role...
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, limited partners, service providers and other external partners
- Act as a gatekeeper of the Managing Director's time and resources
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain and update calendar in a fast paced, multi-variant environment
- Respond to emails and requests on behalf of executive
- Draft slides, emails, and documents for executive
- Assist and support executive in preparing for meetings, including preparing meeting materials, keeping track of meeting progress, notes and follow up items, and preparing and revising correspondence and other documents, as necessary
- Work closely and effectively with the executive to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong writing skills
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams and Dynamics
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment
- Excited to work full-time, in-office, in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; humble and willing to pitch in wherever necessary
- Friendly, service-oriented, and positive attitude with a good sense of humor and willingness to work hard
- Quick learner who exhibits excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability; react positively and quickly to last-minute changes in logistics or needs
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and working independently, with the support of a small team environment
