Job Title: Executive Assistant (Part-Time)

Location(s): Columbia, MD Hours: Part-Time (M-F/ 20 hrs a week)

What you will be doing:

The Executive Assistant will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to JASINT’s CEO. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills, strong communication skills, and be able to act without guidance while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide administrative support, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications and presentations.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records, submit information in a timely manner with the ability to act with a high sense of urgency.
• Perform minor operational/accounting duties (i.e. expense reports)
• Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering and events when necessary.
• Manage the CEO’s calendar, including making appointments, travel arrangements, and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

• Two (2) years' relevant experience in an executive or administrative support role.

Education:

• Required: High School Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Office 365/ SharePoint
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High level of discretion and confidentiality

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
