Job Description:
This position reports to the Vice President, Chief Risk Officer and provides and oversees a full range of clerical and specialized administrative functions. Assignments involve work of a confidential or complex nature, necessitating exposure to sensitive information and contacts requiring considerable discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy as well as a practical knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, general company policies and programs. Depending on the assignment, this position directly interacts with the senior leaders of Intermountain Health. The Executive Assistant proactively anticipates needs to support a variety of administrative functions for an executive leader or team of executive leaders in a time sensitive, accurate, and confidential nature using discretion and professionalism.
This position is mainly remote but, must be able to attend on site meeting in the Salt Lake City location or, Denver.
Primary responsibilities include partnering with the leader on task management and coordinating high-stakes, strategic initiatives, and serving as a liaison with other internal and external stakeholders. Work is broad in scope and may involve system-level coordination with multiple markets, facilities, sites, service lines/departments, and boards. Caregiver understands the business strategy and works as a competent auxiliary member of the leadership team actively supporting team goals and priorities and developing procedures and processes to ensure successful execution of team strategy. This caregiver will create and modify documents and presentations, track and influence performance metrics, and serves as a thought partner to their assigned leader(s). The Executive Assistant - Senior provides advanced meeting support including event coordination, remote meeting management, facilitation and creation of meeting materials, and management of multimedia needs. Additionally, this caregiver proactively manages executive calendar and email, correspondence, travel/expense management, response to inquiries and requests and support of system needs and priorities. The Executive Assistant - Senior may supervise other administrative caregivers.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Demonstrated experience supporting an executive director, multiple managers or functional area in an office setting, or system leader
+ Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in an independent manner
+ Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and professional behavior while acting decisively
+ Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
+ Demonstrated experience managing calendars, correspondence, travel/expenses, remote and in-person meetings
+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills with internal and external senior-level leaders
+ Demonstrated proficient verbal and written communication skills including discernment, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
+ Demonstrated proficient time management, ability to prioritize and flex work to align with business operational priorities
+ Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities without loss of composure
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
+ Experience working in a matrixed healthcare setting
+ Leadership experience (e.g., providing training to others on their job duties, coordinating the work of others, coordinating projects, acting as a team lead, and directly supervising others)
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.

Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, including manipulating paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

See and read computer monitors and documents.
