ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant

An Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for supporting others. It is not only their job duties that can vary greatly from job to job, but even day to day within the same job.

Qualifications for Administrative Assistant

• Greet employees and visitors and answer phones
• Maintain appointments and calendars
• Coordinate staff meetings and other events
• Organize and distribute mail
• Prepare correspondence, such as memos, emails, invoices, and reports
• Create and edit documents ranging from letters to reports and instructional materials
• Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems
• Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
• Preferably bilingual (both English & Spanish language)
