About the Job
Executive Administrative Assistant needed for a growing, fast paced company in Plainfield, IL. Position reports directly to the Owner/CEO and will support the CEO and CFO. The Executive Administrative Assistant should be an experienced executive assistant who can manage a strong-willed, visionary CEO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an extremely active calendar, and composing and preparing correspondence that is confidential.
- Plans, coordinates, and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time.
- Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Work closely with the CEO and CFO to follow-up on requested projects. Will attend on-site meetings when requested in order to track details and insure appropriate follow-up.
- Ability to handle large amounts of detail in an organized and accurate manner.
- Assist with Special Project tasks as time permits.
Executive Assistant Requirements:
- Must work and enter data at a fast pace with strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Strong follow through and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office essential.
- Must be highly flexible and able to deal well with changing processes and responsibilities.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
- Associates degree or Executive Assistant Certification preferred.
