Welcome to the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida, an 87 year old non for profit serving educational and special needs throughout Miami Dade County. We are also full service providers and offer our clients Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Educational and Behavior Therapy. We have a full practice for center based services and have community contracts throughout the county at various locations such as schools, hospitals, nonprofits and more. Our administration teams work at our clinical site, however, we serve all of Miami Dade County.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking part time or full time employees who are responsible and committed to learning environment in our medical office or educational settings. Admin Assistant will help as an Executive Administrative assistant and will work with CEO and Operations Director including some of the following tasks:
- Bill payment/ processing
- front desk when coverage is needed
- Help in grant management
- Grant program deliverables
- Facilitate reporting for CEO-operational duties
- Manage Instagram and social media
- Participate in screening program with Program Director
*Employee will have duties related to accounting/Business dept, nonprofit leadership, Healthcare administration, Educational programming, and executive (c-level) operations management.
-Experience in a medical or educational setting-ideally a therapy practice or school
-Be computer savvy—word, excel, power point, publisher, canva, etc.
-Excellent “People skills” and communication with staff, clients and Dr.'s
-Must be fluent Bilingual speaker-able to speak and write fluently in English.
-Have exceptional organizational skills for data tracking, scheduling, and inventory.
-Quickbooks experience a plus!
-understanding and modeling of proper business etiquette and best practices
