About the Job
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields required
At least 5 years of relevant work experience and office procedures required
Must have excellent typing skills and familiar with general office equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Requires a high level of integrity and ethics
Requires a high level of problem solving skills and initiative
Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as some Apple functions
Requires working knowledge in Share Point
Requires a working knowledge of budget, annual plan, annual and bi-annual report analysis and preparation
Must have a familiarity with tribal and government programs and the processes involved in their operation
Ability to prepare and proof-read letters, documents and create correspondence and other written documents
Ability to organize daily work procedures and perform detailed diversified office work
Ability to interact with employees, elected officials and constituents in a professional manner
Ability to protect the Nation’s values by safeguarding confidential information
Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and seek guidance for decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job duties and responsibilities
Possess a keen attention to detail and ability to perform detailed work under deadline
Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
