HIRING: EXCAVATION FOREMAN

Layton Services is an Excavation company that has been family-owned & operated for 30+ years. We specialize in Site Work (mass excavation, building pads, sub-grade prep) and Underground Utilities (water, sanitary, storm). We are located in Newark with majority of our work in Columbus, Ohio.

*CURRENTLY OFFERING A $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS! Typical range is $30/hr - $40/hr.*

Summary of Position:Responsible for complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily production, costs, safety, organization, labor, and some operating. This person must be driven, committed to safety, possess leadership skills, and be able to immediately lead an excavation crew to success.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma, preferred.
• 3-5 years industry related (construction/site work) experience, preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, required.
• Trenching and Excavating certificate, required but can obtain once hired.
• 30 hour OSHA certificate in construction, required but can obtain once hired.
• HeavyJob software experience, preferred.

Other:

• Basic computer knowledge, including email, required.
• Insurable Driver's License
• Ability to relate well to others, a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
