Qualifications and responsibilities for this Excavation Estimator position include:

5+ years of experience in excavation estimating for projects exceeding $300k, with knowledge of underground utilities, sanitary systems, fire systems, and sitework.
Proficiency in estimating and bidding software such as Excel, Bid2Win, HeavyBid, and CAD.
Strong ability to read blueprints and bid on complex projects.
Fire license and/or Underground Utility Contractor License preferred.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
Work primarily in the office, with occasional local travel to project sites.
Availability to work 40–60 hours per week during the season, including flexible early-morning or evening hours.

Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year, plus commission, commensurate with experience.
