About the Job
A Carter Custom EWP Production Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedule. This position works closely with all production departments as well as dispatching, to coordinate and track work orders from production to delivery. Analyzes work orders and communicates results to Production Manager. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
Requirements to be Considered for this Position:
- Previous coordinating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Possess knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
- Understanding of the production engineered wood products
- Scheduling and shipping methods
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Responsibilities of the Position:
Scheduling:
- Coordinates and creates production schedules for the EWP production teamĀ
- Schedules all orders and passes work order information to the Production Manager
Work Orders:
- Reviews and analyzes specifications, blueprints, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of the wall, truss and engineered wood components.
Safety:
- Ensures safety standards and best practices are met during production.
- Ensures that all machines and equipment are being properly used and maintained.
