Job Title: Executive Vice President (EVP) - Clinical Operations ?
Location: Remote (Must have reasonable access to a major airport; 50% travel required)
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer ?
Position Summary: ? The EVP of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing the quality of care, patient satisfaction, efficiency of branch operations, customer service, revenue generation, and profitability across different regions. ? This role supports Regional Vice Presidents and their teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies. ? The EVP will foster a positive environment aligned with the company’s vision and values. ?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive the company’s business strategy and demonstrate leadership with a focus on people and results. ?
- Ensure professional development of regional and branch team members. ?
- Implement long-term operational and financial strategies to build efficiency and service excellence. ?
- Monitor quality of care, patient satisfaction, and customer service, taking corrective actions as needed. ?
- Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals. ?
- Ensure compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. ?
- Manage regional budgets and financial performance. ?
- Analyze trends impacting patient service delivery and provide recommendations. ?
- Act as a liaison between corporate departments and regional teams. ?
- Participate in corporate committees and projects. ?
- Oversee staffing and scheduling to ensure full coverage. ?
- Develop clinical practices to increase market share. ?
- Partner with recruiters to source high-quality providers. ?
- Oversee patient care staff, including hiring, retention, performance, and compliance.
- Provide input for new site selection and development. ?
- Maintain awareness of competition and assess regional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. ?
- Collaborate with Marketing, HR, IT, and other functions for new market rollouts and initiatives. ?
- Assist in planning and conducting training and educational activities for employees. ?
- Provide reports to the Executive Management Team and/or Governing Board. ?
- Visit regional sites regularly to provide support. ?
- Foster professional relationships with healthcare providers and institutions. ?
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee regional vice-presidents of clinical operations, scheduling, and other clinical support operations leaders. ?
Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school as an RN or BSN (or related field). ?
- Master’s degree preferred (MSN, MBA, or related field). ?
- 10 years of healthcare experience, with at least 4 years in leadership. ?
Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of care coordination, long-term care, acute care, and pharmacy services. ?
- Experience with multi-location and multi-state operations. ?
- Experience in a rapidly growing organization. ?
- Proven background in talent assessment and selection. ?
