About the Job
Hino Trucks is looking for an Events Planning & Marketing Coordinator that will organize and execute events while providing marketing support to enhance the company's brand presence. This dual role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in both event planning and marketing. Additional responsibilities may include other marketing activities that arise periodically, in alignment with the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
Event Planning:
- Event Coordination: plan, coordinate, and execute various events such as corporate meetings, conferences, product launches, trade shows, and various corporate functions
- Vendor Management: identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers
- Logistics Management: oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, transportation, and on-site management
- Budget Management: develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality
- Event Promotion: create and implement promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement
Marketing Support:
- Content Creation: assist in creating content for marketing materials
- Campaign Execution: support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Market Research: conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to support marketing strategies when needed
- Brand Management: help ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identify across all marketing materials and events
- Reporting and Analysis: track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities and events, providing insights, and recommendations for future efforts.
If you're ready to execute these key responsibilities, we suggest these qualifications in order to be successful:
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in event planning and/or marketing roles
- Skills: strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software, and knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Attributes: creative problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality execution.
