About the Job
The Event, Program & Marketing Coordinator is an employee of The San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce and reports to the Chamber President/CEO. The position is responsible for coordinating all Chamber events & programs. While reporting directly to the President & CEO for The San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce, the Events Coordinator will handle events from start to finish. As the primary point of contact for The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce events, the Events Coordinator will primarily coordinate with the CEO, Chamber members, business owners, sales and marketing teams, and event exhibitors. Oversee & coordinate all volunteers for events. Interact with all potential sponsors, donors, venue contacts and attendees as to establish the personal touch while establishing relationships for future interaction for the mutual benefit of the community. Our goal is to Showcase The Chamber to maximize our outreach to community members, retain and engaging current members, and encourage membership growth through fun interactive networking and showing value for being a member of the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce. The Marketing Coordinator develops and implements the Company’s advertising, marketing, and communications programs regarding its services, in order to build brand awareness, increase membership and ensure clear communications regarding a variety of matters. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator supports all internal communication initiatives, events, Chamber staff and Leadership. The Program Coordinator manages, supports and implements the company’s programs like Leadership East County, Refer East County and other programs.

- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- Professional, Respectful and Trustworthy
