AbelCine is a full-service equipment and technology provider to the broadcast, production, and new media industries. Our Production Services division currently has an employed consultant opportunity for an experienced Events Graphic Designer.
The role of Events Graphic Designer is essential in the successful completion of our client's company events and conferences. We are seeking candidates with strong collaboration and progress-oriented skills in order to interact with internal clients, event planners, project managers, and the internal design teams. This role will be tasked with delivering impactful and memorable on-brand experiences across digital and physical platforms and will serve as a conduit between the events and design teams within the company marketing division. It is crucial that this role drives cross-team collaboration, is a strong communicator, and is solutions-oriented in a corporate environment. Project work will range across a wide breadth of channels such as digital (UI/UX), print, MS Office, video material, photo and biographical assets, etc.
This position encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Work across a variety of events and experiential marketing projects; campaign and exhibition experience preferred
- Develop original design concepts that align with project goals and brand identity
- Propose and deliver innovative concepts and executions across both digital and print mediums
- Implement innovative approaches to design deliverables while staying within project budget
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Ensure all design files meet print specifications, including resolution, color profiles, and bleed requirements
- Coordinate with print vendors to get quotes, place orders, and track the progress of print jobs
- Review and approve proofs from printers to ensure accuracy and quality before final production
- Ensure a collaborative approach
Requirements for a successful candidate:
- Undergraduate degree in Arts, Marketing or equivalent combination of work experience, education and training
- 10 years of experience in Event Graphic Design in a corporate setting is a must
- Strong event design and brand activation experience in a physical space.
- Experience with complex and evolving design systems and brands with the ability to expand into various deliverables for brand consistency
- Experience and ability to succeed in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a corporate environment, successfully managing projects and building relationships with influential stakeholders
- Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage priorities under tight timelines
- Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and other industry-leading software
- Flexibility and ability to pivot quickly based on feedback and from project to project
- Adaptability and ability to assess situations quickly, and shift focus in a customer-centric, high-service-level, and ever-evolving environment
- Experience working in a corporate setting with
- A positive attitude, a broad perspective, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role

This opportunity is a temp-to permanent position. The anticipated temp period would span approximately 6 months. This is an Onsite/Hybrid position, with the majority of work taking place at our client’s location in Midtown Manhattan, along with one designated day for remote work.
Compensation Range: $2,211.53 - $2,307.69 per week
