Position: Events Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Company: Global Law Firm
Comp Package: Base salary to $75K, Paid Overtime, Bonus, Full Benefits, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K, etc.
Responsibilities for Events Coordinator:
- Plan, coordinate and execute the logistics for events as well as perform post-event wrap up
- Responsible for coordinating and ordering giveaway items, speaker gifts and marketing items sent to conferences and business development trips
- Collaborate with Partners and internal departments to coordinate staff/client dinners, receptions and outings
- Responsible for staying up-to-date on what is happening in the cities the Firm conducts business, such as new venues, restaurants, food trends, entertainment and event technology
- Create and develop relationships with vendors and industry professionals
- Update and maintain the Firm-wide events calendar as well as manage event-related correspondence
- Travel as needed for on-site event execution
Qualifications for Events Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in event planning required
- Knowledge of the events industry and its resources
- Experience working with budgets
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed
- Proficiency Microsoft Office and CRM
- Work effectively with all levels of management, and across all departments and offices
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and communication skills
