Summary
The Event Technology Specialist is responsible for the operation of event websites, apps, data management, reporting and analytics for Firmwide Events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the event platform and mobile app, including the setup and management of registration systems, mainly within Cvent.
- Lead mobile app build and content uploads in partnership with our IT teams for select events throughout year.
- Analyze post-event data, ensuring consistent collection of attendee information. Generate and distribute accurate reports.
- Perform duties of a registrar. Handle attendee inquiries and provide support related to registration and event participation for annual meeting with over 800 attendees.
- Responsible for registration collateral and equipment management. Responsible for registration desk flow, design and set up at signature events.
- Keep up to date on emerging technologies, innovating on new technology and how integration will flow between systems for our department.
- Collaborate with planners to understand technical requirements for events.
Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. Target Salary Range
$85,000 – $94,000, if located in IllinoisQualifications

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience Meeting/Event Planning
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with event and registration technology
- Proficiency with Cvent On Arrival, Cvent Attendee Hub, Qualtrics and Survey Monkey.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation
- Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills
