Event Server - Spherion

We are seeking friendly, efficient, and professional Event Servers to join our team. As an Event Server, you will ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience by replenishing food stations, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organized event space. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a team to deliver exceptional service during parties, banquets, and special events.

Responsibilities:
Set up food stations and beverage areas before the event begins.

Replenish food and drink stations throughout the event to ensure items are fully stocked.

Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables in a timely manner.

Keep event areas clean and organized, including disposing of trash and cleaning spills.

Assist with breakdown and cleanup of event spaces after the event concludes.

Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
Previous experience in catering, event serving, or hospitality roles.

Familiarity with banquet and event procedures.

Excellent teamwork and time-management skills.

Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift and carry trays, chairs, and supplies up to 30 pounds.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods during events.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
