Job DescriptionThe Events Manager is a strategic and creative driver of exceptional internal events and conferences, ensuring every experience is meaningful, memorable, and meticulously executed. This role combines innovative event ideation, design expertise, vendor management, and onsite coordination to deliver seamless events that engage, inspire, and foster team unity across all levels of the company. This role is responsible for crafting comprehensive event proposals, managing budgets, optimizing attendee experiences, and collaborating closely with internal teams to execute world-class events that reflect the brand’s values and mission.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Plans and executes Raising Cane’s high-impact events and conferences, from flagship offsite gatherings to regional and corporate meetings of various scale
- Partners with cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, facilitating transparent communication and alignment at each stage
- Leads end-to-end event planning with an emphasis on delivering high-quality experiences, seamlessly managing all logistics, from ideation through post-event analysis
- Facilitates and leads cross-functional meetings, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and event requirements
- Selects top-tier venues, suppliers, caterers, staffing, and entertainment that support event goals and deliver an elevated attendee experience
- Anticipates attendee needs and proactively addresses potential logistical challenges to create a flawless experience, building an environment that minimizes issues and maximizes engagement
- Conducts post-event debriefs and leverages attendee feedback and data insights to refine and enhance future event planning
- Manages detailed event budgets, oversees expense tracking, and ensures meticulous documentation and accuracy for reporting and improvement
- Serves as a proactive problem-solver, anticipating and planning for potential obstacles to deliver a consistently high level of service and excellence
- Manages multiple complex projects simultaneously, from custom large-scale experiences to streamlined, turnkey events
- Stays ahead of industry trends, continuously implementing the latest innovations in event planning, attendee engagement, and emerging technology
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate event planning, with a proven track record of success in producing high-quality events
- Travel management experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Self-motivated and energetic, with exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Able to excel independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in proactively identifying, addressing, and solving challenges with expertise in process improvement and project management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Photoshop) for event design support
- Proficient in event management software, such as CVENT, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies (e.g., Zoom, Teams, SharePoint)
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed at the Plano, TX office, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally for event support
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, business, or a related field
- Continuing education, training, or certification in event management is highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth
