Event Marketing Manager
Remote Position
Join our team at a leading outdoor adventure company as a full-time Event Marketing Manager. We're passionate about creating unforgettable experiences, and we need someone who shares that passion to drive marketing efforts for our renowned events like the Open Season Sportsman's Expos, Sand Sports Super Show, Off-Road Expo, and Street Machine Nationals. This remote position offers a fantastic opportunity to make an impact, engaging with attendees, participants, sponsors, and exhibitors alike. We're looking for candidates residing in CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NY, OH, or WI.
Responsibilities:
Be a self-starter with direct experience in event marketing, focused on driving audience and sales.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborating closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams to reach our diverse audience.
Develop and execute day-to-day marketing plans with a focus on timely delivery.
Utilize existing sponsor and exhibitor networks to expand event reach and engagement.
Create engaging social, email, and web campaigns for sponsors and exhibitors to promote their involvement.
Execute email campaigns and ensure effective communication.
Maintain event websites, providing regular audits and updates.
Analyze tracking and conversion data to measure campaign effectiveness.
Drive growth by attracting new sponsors and exhibitors.
Generate comprehensive reports on campaign conversion and efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally on presentations, marketing materials, and sponsorship programs.
Support on-site event marketing, promotions, and overall operations.
Graphic design skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in direct event marketing.
Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Enthusiasm for being a team player, regardless of task size.
Professional communication skills for interacting with leads and stakeholders.
Proficiency in WordPress and other website development tools.
Experience with Google Analytics and Adobe CC.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Passion for the outdoors and/or motorsports is advantageous.
Willingness to travel and work weekends for events.
