We are seeking an Event Marketing - Business Development Representative with proven ability to effectively generate qualified leads.

This is purely for a lead generation role. Once a lead is generated, you will partner up with our strategy experts who will create the proposal and close the lead.

This position could be either full-time or part-time.

We are seeking an experienced Event Marketing Representative who will:

1. Identify and attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Digital Silk
2. Join strategic communities and various memberships to generate leads
3. Network within circles of decision makers of mid to large size companies.
4. Gather and organize lead data to share with the Business Development team for follow-up
5. Collaborate with the necessary teams to develop event materials, presentations, and promotional content
6. Provide detailed post-event analysis, including lead insights and recommendations for future opportunities.
7. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify strategic advantages.

Requirements

1. Excellent English communication and speaking skills
2. Proven track record of success in generating leads and building professional relationships at events or various membership organizations
3. Experience working within a digital agency or marketing-focused environment is preferred (but we do provide training if needed)
4. Experience in negotiating and securing event sponsorships or partnerships
5. Confidence in representing the brand and delivering impactful messaging at events
6. A solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, including branding, SEO, and web design services, to effectively communicate Digital Silk’s value proposition
7. Awareness of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to spot opportunities
