We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive, can-do attitude. The following position is currently available: Senior Production Supervisor in Expo, Events & Exhibits. This is an industry seasoned and experienced project leadership position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to lead various projects relating to producing a variety of events. This position leads overall management of the installation and dismantle process of Events & Exhibits. This includes but is not limited to; project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and time constraints given by Account Manager(s).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation and dismantle of Events & Exhibits.
- Supervise labor during the installation and dismantle process.
- Work with Account Managers to ensure delivery of client expectations
- Work with Warehouse Manager to create and ensure proper equipment allocation for each event.
- Work with facility personnel to ensure safety and compliance of rules within the facility
- Provide direction and support to team.
- Responsible for quality assurance.
- Monitor and report on progress, problems and solutions.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Project evaluations and assessment of results.
- Maintain a creative, fun, solution-oriented and positive approach to all projects
- Resolve issues proactively
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Lead show standards and maintain quality customer service under pressure
​Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years' Tradeshow/Exhibits installation experience required or 5+ years similar experience in Event Industry.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in project management required
- Proven knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Proven knowledge of project management techniques, tools and software
- Proven experience in strategic planning and change management
- Ability to work well within and/or lead a team setting
- Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- Solution, deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to travel
