Event Coordinator (Part-Time) - Fooda

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Seattle market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants. What You'll Be Doing + Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building + Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures + Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication? + Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards + Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching + Administrative work + Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer + Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality + Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve + Critical hours are over lunch Tuesday - Thursday (10am - 2 pm) 15 hours per week + Most have their own form of transportation and comfortable traveling around the Seattle market Who You Are: + You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service + You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people + You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up + You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you're capable of finding solutions + You are a strong communicator and self-starter + You are organized and detail oriented.
