About the Job
Oliva Restaurant Group is seeking an Event Coordinator to join our growing team! This position will involve managing group dining sales, corporate dining, catering and restaurant buyout opportunities across several OLIVA locations. Base salary is extremely competitive ($45k - $60k based on experience), and with event commissions factored in, earning potential is very high.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage stress, and take direction from the corporate team
- Food Handling and Safety knowledge
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- 2+ years of event management experience in a full-service restaurant
DUTIES
- Contact, book, and follow up with event inquiries
- Manage events and catering scheduling while utilizing appropriate event and reservation systems
- Foster relationships with concierge, front desk agents, bellman, and valets with regular visits
- Confirm and communicate event details with all management
- Oversee and participate in the execution of events
- Ensure operations, service, and finances level consistently met or exceed corporate standards
- Anticipate guests' needs to proactively and effectively ensure guests' total satisfaction
- Ensure that the quality of work, service, and hospitality are maintained
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
