GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Events Coordinator will plan and execute church wide events and staff functions throughout the year as well as support special events within different ministries. A pre-employment drug screening is required for all candidates offered employment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be outgoing and personable and comfortable working with multiple individuals; is a self-starter and requires minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills; is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines is a must.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (but not limited to):
Events:
- Work with team on format/timing of the event
- Order Food
- Order Supplies
- Collect necessary insurance information from vendors
- Coordinate volunteers
- Input information on ESpace (facilities software)
- Coordinate information with maintenance and tech
- Execute event
- Clean up from event
- Direct team in post event recap
- Maintain event closet – restocking as needed
- Submit invoices to Accounting – work within budget
Assisting Ministries with Events (as needed):
- Work with ministry to coordinate information on calendar
- Give guidance in ordering food
- Direct ministry where to order supplies
- Assist in coordinating information with maintenance and tech
- Assist in recruiting volunteers
Outside Rentals
- Work with Operations Manager to verify eligibility
- Collect dates and requirements for rental
- Obtain, execute and file contract
- Submit information into facilities software
- Obtain required insurance information
- Collaborate with facilities, IT and Production for event
- Be present at event
- Finalize event, submit final invoice, and collect payment
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must be organized, have a strong attention to detail and work within a deadline
- Must be able to work well with people
- Must have good communications skills
- Must be able to problem solve
- Previous event planning a plus
