Overview:The Event Concessions Sous Chef will work in our on-site commissary kitchen and at events on site.
This role will pay a salary of $75,000 to $80,000.

Responsibilities:- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets the company’s quality standards.
- Manage/support new casual café concept opening late Summer 2024.
- Manage/support concessions program.
- Support the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Performs all duties in accordance with the established ServSafe standards.
- Must have high volume event/restaurant management experience of at least 3 years.
- Experience in leading special events/weddings of 250+ from start to finish.
- Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
- Must have experience in managing a team of 20 or more.
- A passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Must have “ServSafe Manager” certification.
- Must be extremely guest oriented with the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
- Ability to lift, push, carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability based on business demands.
