Event Bartender - Main Street Abbey, LLC

We are looking for Bartenders to join our team! Looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and creative individuals to join our staff. The Main Street Abbey is booked solid every weekend this fall with huge weddings and other amazing events. Shifts are typically 6 to 9 hours long. Must be able to stand for great lengths of time. Must be of proper age to bartend in the State of Illinois and have your BASSET. 

You will handle the mixed drinks and beverages for events as the event bartender. Your duties involve working behind the bar, serving guests whatever mixed drinks or beverages they order. Your other responsibilities are preparing the bar for an event and breaking it down afterward.

Requirements:
 

• Customer service
  Bartenders interact with customers by taking orders, making suggestions, and providing social interaction. They should also verify customers' ages and ensure they consume safe amounts of alcohol.
• Drink preparation
  Bartenders should know how to make traditional and classy drinks, as well as pair alcohols and understand tastes. They should also prepare and maintain ingredients by following recipes.
• Bar maintenance
  Bartenders should keep the bar clean and sanitary, including setting up, cleaning, and tidying. They should also adhere to proper sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure beverage items are properly dated, labeled, and rotated.
• At least 1 Year Experience
