ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Deliver 'Unparalleled Hospitality' to each customer
- Capable of being trained to work each position in the cafe
- Successfully complete the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program
- Ensure each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- Use tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, and control inventory
- Responsible for either opening or closing the store to standards
- Handle cash and follow cash handling procedures
- Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in a food service is strongly preferred
- Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines
- Preferred prior/current Serv-Safe certification (or equivalent)
- Current SNHD Food Handlers Card
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash
- Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
- Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Most shifts are between six to eight hours, but this may vary
- PM Crew can expect to work early evening to closing, weekend and/or holiday hours, and may have additional closing responsibilities
- Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift
- Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!
