EUROPEAN MULTINATIONAL | Planning and Cost Control Manager at Confidential

Spanish Multinational Corporation is looking for a Planning and Cost controller Manager to join our team in Texas developing museum contents.

Your job will consist of

• Develop together with the management the project planning, to have the baseline or reference for monitoring, both at the work and economic level.
• Develop the procedure for measuring and monitoring the progress of the project, ensuring compliance with the applicable methodology.
• Monitor project progress against the program baseline, detecting deviations and calculating completion dates of planned works.
• Define preventive and/or corrective actions taking into account contractor/subcontractor schedules.
• Collaborate with the construction and contracting teams in the realization of construction schedules, as well as in the elaboration and reporting of progress curves and project monitoring.
• Manage project changes, from a scheduling standpoint, to minimize their effect on the overall project schedule.
• Oversee and validate schedules made by third parties so that they meet the project objectives.
• Support the management team in updating the final cost estimate for the project.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar functions.
• English speaker. Spanish will be valued.
• Resolute, organized, and dynamic person, who likes to work in a team.
• Tools: Planning (Primavera P6 or MS Project), ERP (Navision, Business Central...) and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge in management and control of construction projects: scope, planning, changes, purchases, negotiations, risks, stakeholders, etc.
