Position Overview: Arganteal is seeking an experienced Electrical and Gas Energy ETRM Architect to implement and customize an ETRM solution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ETRM systems and a strong background in developing, implementing, and maintaining such systems for electricity and gas markets. This role will involve working closely with trading, risk management, and IT teams to ensure the proper stand up and seamless operation of our ETRM platform.

- ETRM System Development: Design, develop, and implement enhancements to the ETRM system, focusing on electricity and gas markets.
- Customization and Integration: Customize the ETRM platform to meet specific business requirements and integrate with other systems and data sources.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the ETRM system through regular maintenance and updates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT personnel to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of the ETRM system and new features.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the ETRM system adheres to industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and supporting ETRM systems.
- Proven experience in the electricity and gas markets.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and integration technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with other ETRM/CTRM platforms.
- Knowledge of energy market regulations and compliance.
