Job Description
As an ETL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) into data warehouses and data marts.
* Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process issues, optimizing performance and scalability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest ETL technologies, tools, and best practices.
* Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
* Contribute to the development of data governance policies and standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Perl, or Shell).
* Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.)
* Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
