Investment Management Firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire an energetic, creative, and motivated individual to provide operational support to the firm's Events, Travel, and Community (ETC) group as an ETC Coordinator for a 6-month commitment. This position will start ASAP and operate on a hybrid schedule (Tues-Thurs onsite) with flexibility for the occasional Monday and/or Friday, from 9am-5pm with availability for OT (paid) as needed. Note there will be a few nights per month where attendance is required for nights of events. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, engaging, and dynamic working environment while gaining experience with high-end, large budget events! Pay rate up to $30/hour.

Responsibilities:

Help shape firm culture both internally and externally by planning and executing various social and business events, administering numerous firmwide perks, and innovating new ways for employees to build connections with one another
Provide operational support related to the planning, logistics, and execution of firmwide events, both in person and virtual
Source locations, write invitations, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and attend events
Responsible for budgeting, managing vendors, assisting with project management, documenting processes, and more

Qualifications:

2+ years' NY-based experience with events
Event software knowledge a plus
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a customer service approach
