As an Estimator, you'll play a vital role in our operations by ensuring accurate and timely project estimates. This office-based role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction processes. You'll collaborate with our team to ensure estimates are produced with lightning fast speed and Swiss time-keeping accuracy.

You will also be responsible for inventory management, vendor management, and project management for new construction jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales to collect all necessary inputs for the estimating process.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for roofing projects using advanced software.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine labor and material requirements.
• Maintain an accurate database of costs from vendors and service providers.
• Develop and manage unit cost calculations, conversions, and formulas for assumptions for items like leakage, breakage, pitch changes, etc.
• Maintain current knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience or knowledge of construction materials and processes is a must.
• A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Strong math and financial analysis skills, plus proficiency in Excel and other computer tools.
• Strong preference for bilingual (English and Spanish) skills.
• Attentive to detail, meticulous, and thorough in all work.
