Estimator (Structural Concrete)

GPAC is seeking a talented individual that can Manage Construction Projects related to Structural Concrete. This individual will also have the opportunity to assist and lead in project meetings, estimating, special project work and research and development as necessary. GPAC is seeking someone that is able to work with all departments as an integral part of the team.

Our portfolio consists of a wide array of projects including multi-family, hospitality, offices, schools, government buildings, and much more.

Essential Functions:

• Sets up an estimate to include correct alternates, general conditions, inputting correct vendor and subcontractor pricing, correct labor production and wage rates in alignment with bid strategy.
• Conducts a take off by owning all items from take-off software through identifying and quantifying all necessary concrete scope items.
• Responsible for providing correct project information to the appropriate parties during the turnover and planning phases.
• Validates that accurate and detailed information was provided to the operations team to plan for execution.

Qualifications:

• Experience with structural concrete estimating
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• Knowledge of negotiated bids, and hard bids.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering prefered.
• Completed project list or summary preferred.
