Dryman Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator for our Residential Restoration division. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and profitably estimating property losses in a timely manner. You will assist in closing and retaining customers by promptly responding to requests for property damage estimates, effectively communicating our capabilities, and ensuring the highest levels of customer care. Collaboration with the production team is key to ensuring project plans are executed as intended. You will also partner with business development to source and secure new business opportunities.

- Respond to emergency service jobs to execute Service Agreements, perform emergency services, and estimate repairs.
- Coordinate estimates and communicate with subcontractors to gather pricing and availability.
- Conduct job site visits to review and document existing conditions, ensuring accurate assessments.
- Close business by obtaining customer commitments, including executing contracts and service agreements.
- Create accurate and profitable job estimates, considering all factors such as materials, labor, and overhead.
- Plan site logistics and general condition items needed with input from the field team.
- Facilitate estimate reviews with the production team prior to submission, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Manage communication regarding timeline and deliverables to the customer, ensuring all bids go through appropriate levels of approval before release.
- Submit completed estimates to clients in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters, insurance agents, and subcontractors. Network with customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage and assist the production team with supplements and change orders throughout the project duration.
- Prepare comprehensive project packages for handoff to the production team, including contracts, agreed estimates, change orders, material allowances, and subcontractor & supplier bids.
- Assist in the training and development of new team members.
- Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and government requirements.
- Ensure all job-related material expenditures are accounted for in the project file.
- Attend departmental and company meetings as required.
- Inform immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or compute database.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, effectively explain processes and equipment, solicit customer feedback, gain customer approval through signed Work Authorization, and maintain confidentiality.
- Oral Communication: Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Written Communication: Edit work for spelling and grammar, and read and interpret written information accurately.
- Planning and Organizing: Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
- Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring work to ensure high quality.
- Adaptability: Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and handle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events effectively.
