Estimator - Machinist - JARBO

Summary - Estimator - Machinist:  We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with both mill and lathe experience who has a strong understanding of cycle times and labor hours associated with making steel and aluminum parts for various applications.  In this role you'd spend the majority of your time in an office producing bids and quotes for new projects.

Responsibility Summary - Estimator - Machinist:

• Produce bids for new projects by estimating material quantities and labor costs associated with machining parts. 
• Reviews brokered and outsourced jobs to determine profitability.
• Arrange grinding for tooling as necessary. 
• Review and create drawings for production of bids.
• Setup and operate CNC machines as necessary.

Qualification Summary - Estimator - Machinist:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience with both mills and lathes
• Strong understanding of cycle times and labor needed to produce machined parts 
• Experience bidding/quoting new jobs or the ability to learn
• Preference for working in an office versus shop floor
• Strong computer and math skills
