Estimator (machining, metal fabrication, and welding) - Youngstown, Ohio - JOB 24-00300

Salary Range: $70k - $90k Permanent Position with Benefits.

Youngstown, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Estimator for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry

REQUIREMENTS

• High School graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus)
• 2+ years' experience estimating for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry
• Calculate cost estimates for: labor (production time and man-hours required), material and time requirements related to proposals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Maintains current production labor rates and material cost data
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to maintain relationships with suppliers
• Ability to interpret customer drawings and specs from a variety of industries to incorporate into a detailed quote
• Experience reading and interpreting blue prints, engineering drawings, mechanical drawings and GD&T interpretation
• Experience as a CNC Machinist and /or Welder/Fitter is preferred
• Knowledge with Job Quote Tool, Docuware, JobScope & JS Reports, & Quote Log preferred
