Our manufacturing company is seeking a full-time Estimator . As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work required for each project. You will be working closely with vendors to ensure that materials and pricing are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building products, takeoffs, drawings, estimating, construction, reading drawings, bid processes, excel (Expert level), coordinate with vendors, customize proposals, and project planning.

Job Details
Our manufacturing company is seeking a full-time Estimator . As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work required for each project. You will be working closely with vendors to ensure that materials and pricing are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building products, takeoffs, drawings, estimating, construction, reading drawings, bid processes, excel (Expert level), coordinate with vendors, customize proposals, and project planning.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work required for each project
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and estimates for a variety of commercial building products
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure that materials and pricing are accurate and up-to-date
- Prepare and submit proposals to clients for upcoming projects
- Participate in the bid process, including reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that estimates are accurate and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project planning meetings to ensure that estimates are aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends to ensure that our pricing remains competitive
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in the commercial construction industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial building products and construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
